My neighbor looked up once and told me it was a drone.
I looked at him, and knew instantly:
He doesn’t sky.

The sacred, chaotic, occasionally comedic act of participating in the nightly field of aerial weirdness, synchronicity, and emotional calibration. Often done alone. Occasionally with witnesses.
Always with snacks.
The craft aren’t just flying.

Tonight’s sighting included:
A subtle tail dip from the Big Star
Sudden mute in the wind
Full body chills and a light surge in my spine
Tracy said “You’re conducting again” and the thing flashed
No footage.
No proof.
Just me and the sky and the laugh I needed more than evidence.
